If you have already read the Marvelous World Prologue you should be greatly surprised how it has been revamped and extended while keeping the core content the same.

I wanted to make this free but Amazon and Barnes and Noble would not let me. I made it as cheap as possible. Regardless of that it is a great and short read.

Creating real Alonis Medallions is no small task. In fact, I began the quest to make them over two years ago and I have just started to get somewhere. The first reason why it took so long is because I could not find the proper person to make them. The second reason is that the crystals that are in the center of the medallions are not easy to come by.  Those crystals are special and contain a unique  power and energy. Seriously. Take a look at the crystals in this post and notice how they appear  as if they are full of energy and seem to glow. That is because they are and if you look at them or photograph them the right way you can see an element of their mystique.

These unique crystals were made by a Russian scientist who died three years ago. When he died production stopped and the factory was closed. Since they are no longer being created I have to find the remaining crystals that are big enough to fit into the center of the Alonis. The one you see may look to be big enough but a special process has to be completed in order to cut the crystal into the proper shape that can be put into the metal case.

Joe D is the first Earthen Alonis Maker and he created the version you see on all of my artwork. Needless to say, he is a great and powerful person. Now when it comes to the ones you can touch and hold I am working with Paul, who I am going to tell you all about in the near future.

Just because the series is over does not mean the HP crew can’t hang the heck out! You know that’s right!

This afternoon, Warner Brothers hosted a Peggy Siegal luncheon at New York’s fabled 21 Club in celebration of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, the eighth and final installment of the decade-spanning film franchise that has collectively grossed over $7.7 billion at box-offices around the world and single-handedly revived the faltering British film industry.

Though the franchise’s first seven installments received only scattered Oscar nods in technical categories — art direction/set direction (#1, #4, #7), cinematography, (6), costume design (#1), original score (#1, #3), and visual effects (#3, #7) — the final one is considered to have a long but not impossible shot of cracking into the best picture category itself, perhaps as part of a Lord of the Rings-like tribute. (As you may recall, the third and final installment of that epic franchise was not only nominated for but won the best picture Oscar.)

Attendees at today’s event included the actors Daniel Radcliffe and Alan Rickman, who in all eight films played the title character and villainous Severus Snape, respectively; the director David Yates, who helmed the four most recent installments (Chris Columbus did #1 and #2, Alfonso Cuaron did #3, and Mike Newell did #4); and the producer David Heyman, who purchased the rights to J.K. Rowling‘s novels a decade ago and has guided the film franchise ever since.

Heyman transcription…
“Over the course of the, I guess, 10 years that we’ve been making these films, we became a family. You know, Dan, Alan — so many of these people — worked on all eight films, and it was just the most wonderful odyssey. And now that it’s over, it’s a little weird — you know, that family’s all gone its own way — but those 10 years are filled with the most fantastic memories. And I’ve had the pleasure of working with some great directors, but none greater than David Yates, who really had the daunting challenge of not just directing one film but directing four films — he’s still on holiday, by the way. He also brought the series to a conclusion in such a perfect way that I really think did justice to Jo Rowling’s magnificent books. The fact is that none of us would be here were it not for Jo, and I know that she feels really proud of this film — she’s a producer on it. She feels incredibly proud of it. And I thank you all for being here to support us and to support it.”

Yates transcription…
“There’s very little to add other than to say thank you for being here. It has been an incredible journey — I’ve only been along for half of it, and it just feels strange coming back. We finished the movie about four months ago, and after the promotions and the premieres we felt we’d, kind of, left it behind. But it’s wonderful to be back and just talking about it, because we are very proud of the last film. There was huge expectation and anticipation, and an enormous amount of pressure, because this material and these books mean so much to so many people around the world, and we carried that responsibility around with us. We did a DVD launch a week ago in Orlando, and we met many of these young fans, and they were all really wonderful, and the thing they kept saying to us was, ‘Thank you,’ which was really, really touching. So we left it behind in July, but we’re coming back to see it again now. Thank you for being here and supporting the film. We very much appreciate it.”

Sam Worthington and Jonah Hill have emerged themselves into the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 world to make this comical commercial. Great Marketing. Needless to say we are going to get this in the Marvelous World…

If you did not know we love Dr. Seuss in the Marvelous World. We kind of have to because we grew up on it. Anyway, we are happy to see that the Lorax will be coming to the big screen on 3.2.2012…

The only reason Marvelous World has not come back at full blast, even with The young Armada dropping, is simply because I am waiting on the completion of the Alonis Medallion, which will symbolize that I am a  full FAVORITE.  It will be made of diamonds, gold, and crystal.

These are images of the actual Alonis Medallion. This is the gold that will be engraved with eNoli and iLone around the rim. The diamonds will go in the bezel and of course the blue power crystal will be in the center. Get Ready!

We were super disappointed by the Nintendo 3DS. Not that it is a bad system– it is indeed a great piece of technology, but because it did not have many games and other than being in 3D and having a slightly larger screen it was basically just a 3D DS (get it?).

I have to say that I am excited that the Sony PS Vita has us excited in the Marvelous World and we are going to get this one. Maybe we should sell the 3DS…

We have played all the Uncharted games in the Marvelous World and hold them in high regard. We have not gotten our hands on this game but we surely will when it is released for the PS 3 on 11.11.11
