Okay I just found this out so I had to post it. I guess you get two for the price of one…

Revealed in Marvel Comics’ Ultimate Fallout Issue 4, out Wednesday, the new Spider-Man in the Ultimate universe is a half-black, half-Hispanic teen named Miles Morales. He takes over the gig held by Peter Parker, who was killed in Ultimate Spider-Man​ Issue 160 in June.

In his first appearance, he simply breaks up a fight. But readers will learn the true origin of Morales and how he became the new Spider-Man when Ultimate Spider-Man relaunches in September with a new No. 1 issue.

“The theme is the same: With great power comes great responsibility,” says writer Brian Michael Bendis​. “He’s going to learn that. Then he has to figure out what that means.”

The new Ultimate Spider-Man series, as well as Wednesday’s Ultimate Fallout issue, will be available digitally the same day as in stores.

In the regular Marvel Universe, Peter Parker will still be the same web-swinging Spidey as he has been since his first appearance in 1962. But in the Ultimate line, launched in 2000 to tell contemporary stories, he received a new origin and a reimagined supporting cast that paralleled the Spidey in regular Marvel continuity.

Morales’ journey will be a similar vehicle for today’s fans, says Marvel’s editor in chief, Axel Alonso​.

“What you have is a Spider-Man for the 21st century who’s reflective of our culture and diversity. We think that readers will fall in love with Miles Morales the same way they fell in love with Peter Parker.”

In addition to an alliterative name, Miles has a connection to his predecessor in how he received his powers. But he will have different abilities, too. Supporting characters such as Peter’s Aunt May​ and Gwen Stacy​ also will give Miles nuggets of wisdom to help his transition from young kid to New York City superhero.

Italian artist Sara Pichelli, who was integral in designing the new Spider-Man’s look, says, “Maybe sooner or later a black or gay — or both — hero will be considered something absolutely normal.”

Looks like NBC passed on the Wonder Woman Pilot. It had lots of buzz but in the end I guess they thought it was LAME. I wonder who might pick it up with SO many different stations out there. This is from Yahoo:

This spring, no pilot was more buzzy, controversial, or intensely scrutinized than “Wonder Woman.” But evidently, buzz is not enough to overcome the stink of a misbegotten failure: This week, NBC declined to pick up the show.

The news comes as the networks prepare for their upfront presentations (where they unveil their fall schedules for advertisers). “Wonder Woman” would have seemed to be a sure thing: It was produced by David E. Kelley, whose TV successes with the network date back to “L.A. Law,” and starred geek-bait stars like Cary “The Princess Bride” Elwes and Elizabeth “Austin Powers” Hurley. But reports of its abysmal script (which was later rewritten, to slightly more positive effect) seem to have been borne out in a pilot episode NBC could not approve. The ongoing agita over the design of the title character’s costume — which producers attempted to quell by announcing Wonder Woman would actually alternate three different looks — probably didn’t help either.

Kanye is back with the second installment from the Nike Air Yeezy series. Remember that the first Air Yeezys made history and were the first official Nike sneakers made for a musician… Kanye!

The big day for the Nike Air Yeezy 2 just got bigger. Ibn Japser recently uploaded an image of the Air Yeezy 2 on his Tumblr, which Assal Deshmeh followed with a telling Twitpic, revealing the best look at the strap seen yet and what appears to be gold lace aglets. We can also see a textured upper, molded heel piece, off white midsole and light green outsole. Like the original Yeezy, the outsole is presumably glow in the dark. This signature sequel appears to use synthetic materials on the upper as opposed to the leather seen on the first pair.

Kanye West first wore the Nike Air Yeezy 2 Sneakers in Kobe’s “The Black Mamba” Commercial, but now he’s pulled them out for his performance at the 2011 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. There’s no official word on the release date, so let the count down begin.

This is NOT Marvelous. I hope this is a problem that can be fixed because this looks very scary as if Japan could become another Atlantis. I know it sounds crazy but I hope this is:

1. Not what it looks like
2. Possibly a hoax
3. Just exaggerated.

Maybe Louis Proof can take some time off from fighting the eNoli and use his powers as a FAVORITE to fix this. Take a look for yourself and make sure you pay attention to how the large pieces of the street/sidewalk sway back and forth…

Four years ago Warner Bros. began work on a 3D animated Thundercats feature. That project was shelved and replaced with the 2D animated serial that is coming to Cartoon Network. We can take a look at what might have been with this is some test footage from the 3D animate feature. (I am guessing this is really from Warner Bros.) I am happy they did not move forward because that did NOT look like Lion-O to me. Still I have to say THUNDERCATS HO!

What is happening to our Marvelous World? I take this very seriously and have closely related family that lives in Japan so I am not trying to make a joke. BUT isn’t all of this  nuclear radiation in Japan the reason why there was a Godzilla? Check out how the the Japanese is finding toxic fish and the radiation is 7.5 million times the legal limit.Yes! 7.5 Million times the legal limit. I really think we need Louis Proof to fix all of this. As a matter of fact, doing just that is mentioned in the end of The Marvelous Effect. Wow! Read the full story from Yahoo News:

A fish was caught on Friday midway between Fukushima and Tokyo that contained dangerously high levels of radioactive iodine and high levels of cesium.

This catch has prompted Japan to announce its first legal limits for radiation in fish, according to the AP. Previously Japan had said it was enough to ban fishing in the near proximity of the nuclear plant.

Japan also just announced a huge surge in ocean contamination, as radioactive iodine-131 at 7.5 million times the legal limit was found near the plant, according to Japan Times. Yesterday, levels were only 5 million times the legal limit.

Ocean contamination will probably get worse. Yesterday TEPCO commenced a plan to dump 11,500 tons of radioactive water into the ocean, and it said a leak of even more toxic water could last for months.

Japan, like the Gulf of Mexico during the oil spill, faces a serious economic blow if its fishing industry dries up.

Yeah it seems all of the major and “credible” news outlets love to report on UFO sightings. I think something big is coming and we are being prepped for it so the sheer crazy wonder of it does not make our heads explode. Marvelous World!

Here is the story from ABC news:

The strange triangular formation of lights hovering above Lafayette, Colo., last week has many wondering if it’s a sign that we’re not alone.

Leroy van der Vegt and his son Nick captured the sight on camera.

“It was completely quiet. No noise at all,” van der Vegt said.

The unidentified red lights did not blink but were in a triangular shape as they hovered in the sky.

Van der Vegt doesn’t know what it was but he is sure that what he saw was not a satellite, helicopter or airplane.

Eventually, the triangle headed northeast and the lights faded, van der Vegt said.

Lester Valdez and all of his neighbors saw the unidentified lights.

“I have never witnessed anything like that,” said Valdez.

He said they looked like tiny, bright alien ships from “Close Encounters of the Third Kind.”

“It was exactly something like that where you see an object and they all got into a pattern and they stood in a pattern, and they all moved in a direction and then they pretty much dropped and that was it,” Valdez said.

Grant Gazvoda and two friends sat in front of a Lafayette convenience store talking about the lights. Gazvoda said he saw them Monday night as he and friends were out stargazing.

“When it flew over, there was a really weird energy. Almost like a hyper need to move. My mind started racing. My body started shaking,” Gazvoda said. ” I freaked out at that point.”
