Kanye West is one of the biggest eNoli in popular culture and is in his animated form during the season premiere of “The Cleveland Show.” He will be reprising his role as Kenny West.

We have to say these AF1s are kind of serious and we are Air Max 90s enthusiasts over here in The Marvelous World. Five different pairs are being released to symbolize the five different countries participating in the Nkie/USBA World Basketball Festival. You may have a hard time getting a pair because only two pairs of each sneaker are being made. One for Jay Z and the others will be auctioned off on ebay with the proceeds going to The Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation.

To celebrate the Basketball Festival and the release of the sneakers Jay-Z will be performing live at Radio City Music Hall. The entire Radio City Music Hall basketball and musical performance will stream live on World Basketball Festival | Facebook beginning at 6:30 p.m. EDT until its conclusion.

If you are in New York City today, August 12th 2010, you should try to call all of your connects to see if you can get on that magic list that will allow you to attend.

Marvel Studios’ Avengers film isn’t the only superhero team coming to theater, Warner Bros and DC Entertainment are already planning a Justice League movie; but with a twist

Several weeks ago, Warner Bros announced they are planning on fill the gap left by the culmination of the Harry Potter franchise with DC superhero films. With Green Lantern due out in theaters next summer, along with the third installment of Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy and a rebooted Superman film the following year, fans were beginning to wonder how soon it would be before these heroes came together into one ensemble movie. Now we’re a few steps closer.

A Justice League of America film has been given the tentative green light by Warner Bros. Though the film is still in it’s very, very early stages (no script has been officially worked on, but the basic plot is outlined), actors are quietly being pursued to test for the roles. The big surprise is the current team roster: Green Lantern, The Flash, Wonder Woman, Aquaman and Martian Manhunter. That’s right, folks, no Superman or Batman; at least not yet. The film will be used to introduce Wonder Woman, Aquaman and Martian Manhunter to general audiences. Both Green Lantern and The Flash movies would have already been released in theaters, so there would be no need to delve into their origins. Either Superman or Batman, or both, could eventually make their way into the script; though at this time the studio is slowly moving forward without their inclusion. Several comics series, including the team’s first outing in The Brave and the Bold, have worked quite well without Batman and Superman as a part of the initial team.

With the role of Green Lantern already taken by actor Ryan Reynolds, four slots are waiting to be filled. Can a JLA film meet the expectations of fans, and gain general audience approval, without the inclusion of DC Comics’ “big two” heroes? Fans will have to wait and see.

Denzel Washington will always get love in the Marvelous World. He and Tony Scott have teamed up for the third time for Unstoppable, which is due to hit theaters November 12, 2010. BTW we are not going to get into it but Mr. Denzel Washington is 100 percent eNoli. Those who know him know exactly why. We are not mad at him.

Synopsis from IMDB: Unstoppable, a 20th Century Fox drama about a runaway train carrying a cargo of toxic chemicals. Pits an engineer and his conductor in a race against time. They’re chasing the runaway train in a separate locomotive and need to bring it under control before it derails on a curve and causes a toxic spill that will decimate a town.

We love Kanye West in the Marvelous World because due to his self centered and self absorbed attitude he is the near epitome of eNoli. Mr. West is back with a brand new “video portrait” instead of a video for his single “Power,” which has been bubbling on the airwaves and internet for the past couple of months. He decided to go in a very creative direction and hired famed multi-media artist Marco Brambilla to put a special visual spin on this project that premiered after last night’s Jersey Shore. So what exactly is the piece?
Well, it’s a video portrait of Kanye. It starts with a very tight shot introducing him that’s kind of a reinvention of a neoclassical painting. It pulls back from the shot, without any cuts, and we reveal the video canvas, populated by all these characters who are depicted in various stages of undress and decadence. The iconography comes from Roman iconography, Renaissance iconography, and it connects to the sexuality of the music as well. As we reveal the setting for it, there’s a feeling of a moment of transition for him. A fall from grace, if you will. It visualizes power, and him as the icon as power, and then at the end of the piece it challenges the power that I set up at the beginning. It’s an elliptical piece of storytelling.

How did you guys end up using that kind of imagery?
He approached me via my gallery and he wanted to do something that wasn’t a music video. He wanted a video work that would accompany the music. I said, “That’s great, because I don’t do music videos.” I wanted to give it an epic feeling. The song feels very personal, but the orchestration and the production of the track is epic and I wanted to give it something hypersensational and exaggerated.

Kanye had laid low after the Taylor Swift incident, and I think people expected him to come back a bit humbled. Were you surprised that he wanted to do something this over-the-top?
That’s exactly what I like about his music. It’s the anti–Tiger Woods moment, you know? This piece is really about that. The new album is very personal, too, and the various tracks on the album suggest things that have happened to him. This is the most epic track. It was a really great opportunity to show a moment of defiance and a moment of self-awareness. It’s that combination that he has as an artist that’s very peculiar.

Not sure how this movie is going to work because it has SO many characters so we will hope for the best. This film is set to be released in 2012.
