What? You don’t know? Fable 3 is a must buy in the the Marvelous World. Wouldn’t that be obvious? You can either be iLone or eNoli so of course we love it! It is not spelled out that way but the Fable series has always allowed players to explore human duality and balance. I played the first Fable until I got to the VERY end and just did not beat it. I can’t remember what sidetracked me and when I went back to beat it I had no way of transferring my saved game to my XBOX 360. Thanks to my brother Fable 2 arrived at my house when it first came out. Fast forward a year and a half it’s still unwrapped. Add a day and that’s when I opened it and played. I donned an iLone path and beat the entire game including the two downloadable expansion packs.
Side note: They should have extended the arena fighting challenge found in one of the expansion packs. Taking on a seemingly endless onslaught of varied and angered enemies was a complete joy. The only problem was that the onslaught ended when time was up. It should have just gone on until you got your A$$ beat.. Now that I have said that I am moving on…
If you do not know the Fable series is a totally immersive and addictive experience because of how you are not set on a definitive path of behavior within the world of Albion. If you want to be self sacrificing and generous (iLone) you can live your life as such and be loved and adored by everyone. If you want to be self serving and unwavering in your desire to achieve your own goals (eNoli) you can to just that and others fear and respect you. Each path has its pros and cons and will allow you to complete the entire game.
The first game that I played like that was Knights of the Old Republic on the original XBOX. I loved that game. I became a Sith lord instead of a Jedi and took EVERYTHING over. For some reason I did not get the sequel to the game because I heard it was rushed and not nearly as good. In retrospect I wish I had just gotten it and made up my own darn opinion. No time for regrets. I am just going to install windows on my mac and get The Old Republic.
Back to the topic at hand… As of right now Fable 3 will be released on December 31, 2010. Seems odd to come out at that time but whatever, it will be on my door step that day.
Fable 3 Synopsis

Along your journey, the choices you make will change the world around you, for the greater good or your own personal gain. Who will you become?
